The water fitness program at Lochmere is an effective water- based total body exercise program that reduces skeletal stress and enhances cardiovascular fitness.  Diane Laws is the water aerobics instructor. Diane is a long-time instructor and takes pleasure in working one-on-one with many of the participants in her classes.

  • Pre-Season classes start on Tuesday, May 22.  Classes are held Monday through Friday at 4:00 PM at the Lochwood Lap Pool. 
  • In-Season classes start on Monday, June 12.  Morning classes take place from 9:15 AM at the Lochwood Lap Pool.  Classes are held Monday through Friday. Evening classes are held on Monday and  Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Lochwood Lap Pool. 
  • Post-Season classes (August 28 - September 8) are held Monday through Friday at 4:15-5:15 PM at the Lochwood Main Pool.

Classes are complimentary to Lochmere members only ages 18 and older.  No guests are allowed.

There is a minimum of 4 members required at each class. All classes are 1 hour long.   No swimming experience necessary.
