June 21st or the Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year. It is also the day that people across the world will participate in events to support Alzheimer disease research. For those who have struggled and continue to struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, every day is a long day.
The Longest Day Tennis Marathon at Lochmere will be held on Friday, June 21. Lochwood courts 5 and 6 will be available for sign up in one-hour increments starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 8:00 PM.
This year’s event is being planned by Lochmere Tennis players Barbara Sinopoli and Liz Kasberg. For more information about this event, please visit HERE.
This event is a great opportunity to recognize those who have or who are suffering with this disease as well as to support those who are or have cared for anyone who has traveled this long journey.
