It's almost that magical time of year again for children of all ages. Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 22, from 2:30-5:00 PM at the gazebo at the Main Lochmere Pool (500 Lochmere Drive). That is when that jolly man with the white fluffy beard (aka Santa Claus) will be arriving to listen to those long lists from all the boys and girls. And we have heard from good authority that Mrs. Santa and the elves are baking cookies for the children to decorate after talking with Santa.
Last year was the third year that Santa visited the children outside. It has been such a big hit that he asked if we could do it again this year. While it will be chilly (if so, dress appropriately), being outside will let the children be free to run around and parents to visit with their fiends.
This event is open to Lochmere residents and we cordially invite you to bring your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. And please, don't forget your cameras. To let Santa know that you will be there, please RSVP HERE.
While the entire family is welcome to attend, once again this year we would appreciate your signing up for a time period for your entire family to visit with Santa (PLEASE INDICATE ONLY HOW MANY CHILDREN WILL ATTEND).
This activity is made possible by help from Teen CORE of Cary and Lochmere Association.
