The annual Lochmere Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Lochmere HOA with the assistance of Teen Core of Cary will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 2:00-4:45 PM at the Lochwood upper parking lot (502 Lochmere Drive, by the office).

This event is open to all Lochmere residents. Bring the kids (grandchildren are invited) with their baskets to find some colorful eggs.  

So that we know how many children and parents are coming, please register HERE.

We are splitting the event into three 45-minute segments so everyone has a chance to find eggs.  We will also have some fun activities for the children after they find their eggs. We will have a special section for our littlest “egg hunters” to have fun.

This year the Easter Bunny will be once again be hiding empty eggs.

• Each child will collect 10 eggs and bring them to the Easter Bunny and his helpers.
• The Bunny will be hiding some special items for the children to find on their Scavenger Hunt. At the end of the scavenger hunt, each child will receive a goody bag courtesy of the HOA.
• The Bunny has loads of chalk -- Decorate a parking space with chalk -- who can be the most creative.
• Do the bunny hop and other musical games with the Bunny.
• We have heard that the Bunny is fluffing up his fur.  Don’t forget your camera .. He will be posing with the children (and their family) for your spring-time photos

If you would like to help in setting up or cleaning up, we can never have enough volunteers. This year we do need some parents or older siblings to help with the event so that the little ones have a blast! Please sign up when you RSVP.
