The Lochmere Board of Directors would like to update the community on the Waverly Place Rezoning.
The Lochmere Board has appointed the Lakes Chair, David Purks, to be the spokesperson in talks with Hines, the owners of Waverly Place, on stormwater control measures. As previously shared with the community, the Lochmere Board's focus is on working with Waverly Place on reducing stormwater affecting our common areas.
The developer is presently in the process of developing a video. We will communicate this when it is available.
The Town Of Cary has details regarding the proposal on their website to view immediately HERE.
Separately, a group of concerned Lochmere residents are beginning discussions with Hines about other issues involved in the possible rezoning of Waverly Place. These issues include items such as traffic, building heights, light and noise pollution, safety and the overall density of the project.
If you would like to be part of this group's discussion among Lochmere residents and/or receive updates from them, then please use this link to provide your contact information (name, address and email address) : https://www.postable.com/waverly.
