We have a very strong coaching staff this year:
Because of its popularity and success, we will be offering 2 sets of clinics again this year.
Clinics are scheduled to start on May 11 with Swim Team Practice scheduled to start on May18. If the coaches feel that water temperatures are too cold, we will postpone everything day by day. Evaluations of all new swimmers will take place at the completion of the clinics.

We are happy to announce that YES – there will be a swim team this year!!! A lot of planning has gone into how best to offer a program that benefits our swimmers and at the same time trying to keep everyone safe.
Registration for the 2021 Lochmere Swim Team is scheduled for:
Registration will be held in the parking lot outside the Main Office at 502 Lochmere Drive.
The price of registration is $100 per swimmer.
We will also be offering new team suits. This year’s suit will be black with the Lochmere Monster on the left hip. Hopefully we can keep this style for many years and will alleviate families from having to purchase new suits every two years.
Gail and the coaches will be there to answer your questions and talk about how the swim team will be run this year. In a nutshell, until pool capacity limitations are increased, meets will be held virtually. However, the team will have a competitive edge to it because all virtual meets will also be intra-squad meet which means we will split the team and our swimmers will be competing against their team mates. Once limitations are increased, we hope to have in-person meets. We are hoping that limitations will allow for many in-person meets this year.
We will also be offering pre-season clinics so that swimmers can refresh their skills. Clinics will be held Monday-Thursday, May 17-20. Details regarding the clinics and registration forms will be released next week.
