Each fall, Lochmere homeowners vote for candidates who wish to serve the community on the HOA Board of Directors. If you love Lochmere and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting, now is the time for you to think about volunteering your time and effort to this important and rewarding work.
Lochmere is looking for potential candidates to fill two (2) upcoming Board vacancies to serve a 3-year term. Recently appointed Board member Eric Northeim has indicated he will be running. Lochmere residents BJ Meier, Brian Grisham, and Roxanne Heaphy have also indicated that they will be running for to fill the positions.
If you wish to become a candidate this fall, NOW is the time to act. Please contact the Board (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and express your willingness to serve. You will be asked to provide a brief summary of your qualifications and an explanation of your desire to serve. This information will be posted online for our homeowners to get to know you.
Nominations are accepted and taken up through the annual meeting (which will be held on October 23); however, in order to provide advance information to neighborhood voters and to have your name included on the official mailed meeting notice, the deadline for expressing your interest is Thursday, August 28. All bios will be posted online regardless of when received.
Officer positions (e.g., President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) are decided each year by the sitting Board after the annual meeting.
Board meetings are held monthly to establish neighborhood policies that enhance the value, beauty and friendliness of Lochmere. As the governing body of the Association, all Board members are asked to utilize their skills in collaboration, planning, dispute resolution, policy-making and financial oversight. The Board is assisted greatly by Andy Siouville and our management company, HRW.
