Are you looking for a fun yet effective way to work out with your friends and neighbors?  Why not try water aerobics at Lochmere!

The water fitness program at Lochmere is an effective water- based total body exercise program that reduces skeletal stress and enhances cardiovascular fitness.  Diane Laws is the water aerobics instructor. Diane is a long-time instructor and takes pleasure in working one-on-one with many of the participants in her classes. 

  • Pre-Season classes (May 29 through June 11) are held Monday through Friday at 4:00 PM at the Lochwood Lap Pool.  Each class is one hour long.
  • In-Season classes:
    • Morning classes Monday through Friday are held at 9:15 AM at the Lochwood Lap Pool from June 12 through August 23.  Each class is one hour long.
    • Evening classes are held on Monday and  Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the Lochwood Lap Pool from June 10 through August 21.  Each class is one hour long.
  • Post-Season classes (August 26 through September 5) are held Monday through Friday at 4:15-5:15 PM at the Lochwood Main Pool.  Each class is one hour long.

Classes are complimentary to Lochmere members only ages 18 and older.  No guests are allowed.  All classes are taught at the Lochwood facility (500 Lochwood Drive).

There is a minimum of 4 members required at each class. All classes are 1 hour long.   No swimming experience necessary.
