Tennis Ball Machine Reminder
This is a reminder for current tennis ball machine subscribers that if you wish to continue using the ball machine, you will need to renew for 2026. The code has changed.
If you didn't take advantage of this rental in 2025, why not give it a try in 2026.
While there are many organized clinics for adults at all levels, Lochmere has a Tennis Ball Machine which is available for members only. The rental cost is $125 per year for Family usage or $75 per year for Singles usage. Memberships must be purchased at the Lochmere Main Office at 502 Lochmere Drive.
Lochwood Court #4 is the designated court for the tennis ball machine. There is an electric outlet available adjacent to the court. Tennis ball machine reservations and usage are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Congratulations to the 6.0 mixed WTT league winners! They have now qualified for the National Qualifiers in August! Lochmere tennis teams are rocking!
Repairs To Lochwood Tennis Courts Fence Update
We are continuing to face challenges in scheduling repairs to the tennis fence at Lochwood.
Unfortunately, the supplies to repair the green coated tennis court fence are still unavailable. Despite contacting a number of companies, the material is not being manufactured at this time. It may not be until early 2022 that supplies will become available.
In the meantime, we are doing temporary, incremental repairs to the worst areas.
We will let the community know when we have more news.
Lochwood LED Tennis Court Lights
The Recreation Committee and Board of Directors are happy to announce that the Lochwood tennis courts will have its present (and old) Metal Halide lights replaced with tennis specific LED lights.
This has been a subject of discussion for many years and in the new Reserve Study, LED lights were included. The cost is a Reserve expense with funds already allocated.
At this time we do not have an install date or timeframe but we are hoping this can be done in the next couple of months.
