Garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection by the Town of Cary is altered during the weeks of Christmas and New Years. Lochmere's collection days will be Friday, December 26, and Friday, January 2.When it's time to take down the greenery, place Christmas trees, wreaths, and garland at the curb for weekly yard waste collection or drop them off at the Citizen's Convenience Center, 313 N. Dixon Ave. Remember to remove all artifcial foliage and decorations (tinsel, wire, and other items that are not a part of the tree).
Please note that the Citizen's Convenience Center will be closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.
