The Landscape Committee is looking for 2-3 residents who would like to be part of their team. Are you a Master Gardener, are you a backyard landscaper, or do you just want to share your knowledge with others who are passionate about keeping Lochmere beautiful? Lochmere's beauty is one of the reasons why people move here AND stay!
The Landscape Committee is responsible for reviewing ALL of the HOA "green property" -- trees, shrubs, plants, grass. We evaluate our trees, shrubs and planting for maintenance, removal and replacements throughout the sidewalks, walkway trails, open spaces -- all common property. They also evaluate the work of our Landscape contractor to ensure they are focused on what we need from them within their contract.
It sounds like a a big job (which it is!) and actions don't happen overnight. They subdivide oversight among their group of volunteers and make decisions by committee.
They all enjoy landscape and their own yards. For this Committee they objectively focus on all neighborhoods with the goal of improving our community landscape.
